Fuel estimate questions
Is the cost exact?
No. SafarCost gives a planning estimate. Real cost changes with traffic, road conditions, driving style, AC usage, vehicle health, and local fuel price variation.
Where does fuel price come from?
Fuel price comes from trusted sources and is updated.
Can I use my own vehicle average?
Yes. Enter a custom km/litre value and it overrides the default category average.
Does this include toll tax?
No. The MVP calculates fuel cost only. Toll tax, parking, and maintenance can be added as future budget modules.
Does this work for northern areas?
Yes. Select the hilly route option for mountain travel so the estimate includes an additional fuel buffer.
